Guten Tag,
The Old Man Smokehouse and Tavern at 120th and Sheridan in Broomfield celebrating its Birthday and Oktoberfest on Friday October 1st through Sunday the 3rd.
Starting Friday October 1st the fun begins in our 4000 square foot tent located on the volleyball fields behind the Old Man. The bar is celebrating its birthday on Friday and has officially been renamed Der Alte Man as we roll out Oktoberfest in full force! Paulaner will be providing their Wiesn Bier available for the first time ever outside of Munich Germany. The grills will be piping hot with bratwurst, chicken, and pretzels. Of course there will be live music by more than a dozen of Denver's best local bands, but there is also special entertainment which will include traditional dancers and musicians who will be performing sets as well as enjoying the festivities. Don't think your going to be able to just sit there and drink the liters of German beer, because you will have to get involved in the games and contests like stein holding, potato putting, brat throwing and eating, keg rolling, and much more.
